Seragam baru semangat baru. Dengan dirilisnya seragam (jersey) timnas sepakbola Indonesia ini diharapkan dapat membawa semangat baru untuk senantiasa meraih kemenangan.

Konon katanya team kit yang dikeluarkan oleh Nike ini setara kualitasnya dengan jersey tim-tim top dunia semisal Brasil dan Belanda. Tentunya kita lebih bangga lagi jika tak hanya jersey yang setara kualitasnya dengan mereka, tapi permainan dan prestasi mampu berbicara di level dunia layaknya tim-tim top tersebut.

Badge Garuda menempel didada sebelah kiri, dan tulisan “Bhineka Tunggal Ika” terbordir disebelah dalam kaus tepat dibalik badge garuda.

Namun, persepakbolaan Indonesia saat ini sepertinya lebih membutuhkan ketua PSSI yang baru daripada sekedar seragam baru. Tangga menuju yang terkuat di ranah Eropa semakin dekat, undian perempat final Liga Champion (LC) musim 2008/2009 akan menyuguhkan partai-partai yang sayang untuk dilewatkan. Dua laga yang bertajuk re-match akan menambah sengitnya persaingan untuk mendapatkan tiket ke semi final. Arsenal akan bertandang ke markas Villareal yang pernah mereka singkirkan dari ajang LC tiga musim yang lalu. Sementar itu sang juara bertahan Manchester United harus mampu menekuk wakil Portugal FC Porto jika tak ingin kehilangan gelar sebagai Raja Eropa. De Drago akan berkunjung ke stadion the Theatre of nightmare Dreams dalam usahanya menjegal MU pada leg pertama.

Pertemuan “rutin” di partai semifinal LC antara the REDS vs the BLUES akan maju satu babak kala Liverpool menyambut Chelsea di Anfield Stadium sebelum duel penentuan di Stamford Bridge.
